What are the SAT Exam Fees for Indian Students?

With a total of 149 SAT centres in the country, Indian students must confirm the date and centre where they wish to attempt the test in the upcoming weeks. This can be done by completing the registration process, which requires students to pay the SAT exam fees.

According to the official website of the College Board, the official exam administrator for SAT, the exam fees for SAT in India are US $68, with an additional US $43 charged as international fees.

Note: Students attempting the test outside of the USA must pay both the SAT exam fees and the international fees. The charges for the exam are officially listed in US dollars. Therefore, the actual costs for Indian students planning to take the exam in the upcoming weeks will depend on the currency rate of the Indian Rupee against the US Dollar at the time of registration.

Notes:

  • The first 4 reports of the SAT exam are free of charge if they are ordered within 9 days of giving the test. Scores requested over these criteria will incur the additional score report fees.
  • Rush reports can be received within 1 to 4 business days of taking the test (without counting the holidays and weekends) and can only be requested for scores that have already been released.
  • Payment for scores received by phone call will only be accepted via credit cards at the time of the call. Scores will only be available once their scores have been published online.
  • While older SAT scores can be accessed and sent to universities and colleges, it should be noted that SAT scores older than 5 years are considered to be less valid predictors of the academic performance of any candidate.
